My interest in photography began over ten years ago shooting landscapes, abstracts, horses, and nudes with film. I enjoyed spending hours in the darkroom printing my images on heavyweight, fiber paper, pushing myself to the limit to create a gorgeous image. Although I still love creating those same images, nothing compares to the excitement of working to capture the perfect moment. That is why I love wedding photography. In addition, I not only photograph the important moments of a wedding, I push myself to see and photograph anything else that is interesting. While many photographers wait for the cake cutting, first dance, bouquet toss, etc., I continue to look for the less obvious because I believe every wedding is different and is full of delightful little surprises. Of course, no album is complete without the traditional and less traditional (unposed) portraits.
Engagement, Bridal, Family, and Individual Portraits
My approach to portraiture is to create simple, honest images for my clients. My portrait sessions are flexible. There is no posing or change of clothes limits. In addition, I offer portrait sessions that last from fifteen minutes to two hours.
Before booking, I recommend that we first discuss what you'd like out of your portrait session.
